Overview:

This 2004 Riviera 40 Open Flybridge is powered by twin Cummins 6CTA-8.3M3 “480CE” diesels with approximately 3,827 hours and an 11kW Kohler generator installed in 2018 with approximately 1,930 hours.

The main engines have received extensive service, including a top-end rebuild at 2,700 hours, annual raw-water-system service since 2021, replacement of both turbos and exhaust in 2021, a replacement port aftercooler in 2025, and a replacement starboard raw-water pump in 2026. The propellers were refurbished and repitched in 2024 to reduce engine load and fuel burn.
